Dear Solanaphiles

Newbie to the Eco here. Bought 20 for 20 back in March for shits and gigs, and just left in my trust wallet. I’ve been pretty active in the Cosmos Eco for the last 2 years, but I hold a bunch of other coins and tokens, all just to try things out.

FWIW, my bags are approx 75% BTC, so I’m just a casual degen, not a balls deep one.

I’ve watched keenly over the last couple of months Solana’s rise. Thought I better have a play. Being a pretty heavy osmosis user I was lucky enough to get the PYTH airdrop as well and that’s when my interest really got triggered. DL’ed myself phantom and have been very impressed since!

I’ve done a tiny bit of airdrop farming with Jito, Marinade, Drift, Jupiter (late to the party, I missed out on JLP AD this round) and bought myself a tiny bag of SCS and had a play.

I’m really impressed. Easy, fast, cheap. dApps fucking work! I guess I’ve not explored much prior to this because of all the CeNtRaLiSaTiOn talk, and I’m a normie with a normie life, I don’t have time, crypto is just one of a bunch of hobbies. I love Cosmos and will stay an active user, but I can see myself developing the same or greater love for the Solana Eco over time too. I tried Near, Algo, Elrond, Polkadot, Eth and it’s L2’s among others. Compared to Solana and Cosmos Eco’s, they’re all not resonating with me.

This ecosystem is pretty fucking cool. 😍

Anyway enough of my opinions, they’re like arseholes, everyone has one. I made this post to get your arseholes, I mean opinions, good Solana folk.

I’d like to get involved, more than I already am. I’m keen to have a bit of fun and degen on some meme coins (very small bags people, don’t get all preachy on me about only spending what you can afford to lose etc etc). But I’m naive and don’t really know the Solana scene, plus I’m a bit too time poor to do really deep dives. I’ve had a good look around though and realise that perhaps the dominant meme coin is BONK. I’ve also had a bit of a look at GUAC, WOOF, and SAMO. I’m aware of DINGO, MNGO but haven’t really looked in to them at all.

So hit me dudes and dudettes. What’s your favourite meme coins in Solana? What bags are you holding and you wanna shill me? Any unheard of micro caps you reckon is gonna be the next 100x? If you could tell me a little about WHY you think that, that’d be great!

And if you think I should look into other tokens on the Solana network, I’m open to suggestions too. I hold a little SCS, I’m aware of and know a little bit about RLB, ATLAS, GMT, AUDIO. I’m aware of and know nothing about SHDW, ALEPH, HXD and MAPS.

Open to any suggestions regarding airdrop farming strategies too.
