When I write “solana balance”, it usually says something like “0.0532424 SOL”. However, it switched to only saying “Error: Dynamic program error: No default signer found, run ‘solana-keygen new -o keypair.json’ to create a new one”. This forced me to create a new “signer” (I’m very new to this and don’t know what that means.) It gave me a new pubkey and now when I write “solana balance” it says “0 SOL”, which I guess means this new “signer” is just an empty wallet?
I have been trying for hours to transfer solana but it just doesn’t seem to be functioning as intended. What can I do?

Do you have the seed phrase or the old file json? If so you can use
solana-keygen recover
