I managed to transfer some of my delegated GRT to L2 via the network explorer from my old validators, but what is the easiest way to delegate to it if you have undelegated GRT in wallet?
The Arbritum bridge only asks me to put on 3rd party spending cap when I try to transfer the GRT but transfering ETH was easy and it didn’t ask for spending cap. I don’t understand why I can’t seem to transfer GRT via the same bridge, only set a spending cap but the transaction to L2 will not proceed.
This is a normal security measure metamask implemented asking you for max - https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/6055177143579-How-to-customize-token-approvals-with-a-spending-cap. This happens each time and not a concern. You should be able to use arbitrum bridge to move you GRT from ETH to ARB - or you could delegate on L1 if not comfortable and use transfer tools to then transfer your delegation to L2.
How should the bridge transaction proceed for GRT since the app only asks to set the spending cap but the transaction never takes place after setting it?
I guess I’ll have to try to do it via L1 delegation if there’s no other options.
I think once you set limit then you pay tiny amount of gas. Then you have to click on bridge again and pay bit higher gas to initiate transaction. Let me know if this makes sense
On arbitrum was showing crazy spend cap amount I also thought that was suspicious or a bug … weird
I am so confused! I thought Graph was a crypto, sorry for the moon question but what’s all this L2 and delegated talk……and bridges?!?!? Are we going somewhere?
