I wanted to withdraw ETH from Kraken to my Ethereum address on my ledger. So I added the address to my Kraken account and it gave me the prompt, from what I thought, to choose, through what network I want to send it. I choose Polygon. However, after clicking I realised how stupid I was, as I did not send ETH through polygon to my Ethereum address. Instead, I send ETH to a Polygon address.
Is there any way to recover my ETH, as I send it to an address I do own on the Ethereum chain? I now realise I have less knowledge than I thought, so please let me know if you need any more information.
Simply pop in the polygon chain details into your metamask and voila, your ETH will transform into WETH. But let’s be real here, keep an eye on those transactions or you might accidentally send some of your precious BNB, DOT, SOL, TON (and potentially regret it later). So take a moment to read and approve before diving in with a small amount.
