Hi Everyone,

I’m panicking right now as I have tried to get ETH into my metamask wallet twice now and it seems like my money is gone and I’m not sure what happened.

I tried to buy ETH using moonpay the first time and the second time, I tried transferring ETH from MEXC to my MM.

Both times after my ETH is deposited to my MM address, there is another immediate transaction that cleans my MM of all my ETH in gas fees.

Why is this happening?

I feel so stupid and sad that I wasted so much money and getting nothing in return.

Can anyone help me to make sense of the situation?

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post the link of my Etherscan here, but

My ETH address is:

0xe7b9F067c5B8F1A67807b7e801e4f00A714dA541

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m a student who just got into crypto and wanted to buy some coin on uniswap but losing that much money without knowing the reason why felt really bad especially when I’m not very well off financially…

Your wallet is compromised, they have a bot watching your address and draining anything you send to their own wallets, stop using that wallet address

If the hackers are paying 99% of the ETH to gas, that means there is competition between them. Which means you likely have a terrible security so that multiple parties have access to your device or wallet seed.

What did you create this wallet with? Asking because there is malware and malicious websites out there that will tell you to generate a private key. Well, obviously, these projects then have your private key too.

They transfer out at the same block where the transfer-in transaction is in, and the block have an above average MEV. Apparently draining your wallet is now part of the MEV lol

What are your security practices? Have you saved to seed online or maybe made a photo with your phone ? Looks like multiple hackers have a access to your seed phrase
