Tried looking in phantom wallet and the Solflare wallet Reddit page but the most active posting has been from 1-2 years ago.

Not many YouTube videos on the subject matter neither and no one seems to confident when it comes to staking. Does anyone recommend or know of an app or website that I can use to stake my SOL?

Thank you in advance!

Stake in the Phantom wallet, just click on Sol then click stake and pick a delegate, you should just google what Delegated Proof of Stake is (DPoS) it’s what Solana uses instead of POW.

Marinade Finance has a native staking option, it’s very easy to use with phantom or solflare.

I chose Solfare, mainly because it was very easy to use and intuitive, plus you don’t chose a validator, all done for you. But Staking is the smart move IMO.

Depends on how much money you have. if it is small amount then just stake using phantom (or any browser based) wallet. But then staking isn’t worthwhile with a small amount anyways.

I personally don’t like to use a browser based wallet. I have hardware wallet (ledger-live). I stake directly from there using ledger-live app. The ledger-live app doesn’t have the best UI but it sits on my computer and not in a browser. My private keys never leave my hardware-wallet.

You should really spend some time learning about the cold wallet if you are in this for the long run. Never keep a lot of money in a browser based wallet, one wrong click and everything will be drained in a moment.
