Generally curious on everyones take here. I’m still learning my own strategy when it comes to selling and how much should I hold for the long haul. Would love to learn from the community!
For context, I did a ton of research and purchased when it was ~$13. Ideally want to sell what I put in soon.

100% maybe not in this bullmarket but next.

same as every asset; #1 goal is wealth and financial freedom
bitcoin or shitcoin, profit is profit
the assets im LT bullish on and willing to hodl, I will trade and build large positions over the years with goal to cash out and only thing I will leave on markets are lil risk free moon bags; with these I can always use to trade long/short in bear cycles and rebuild large positions.
Markets crash X % every Y years, im not holding the bag just to endure -90% drops after seeing so many go from 7,8 figures down to 5,6 figures. NOPE! defeats the entire purpose of investing/trading.
Im good with a mill, with 10mill i’d be set for rest of life
holding mSol and doing some volitility trading on a smaller amount of Sol as the prices climb and climb.
I’m not sure why the market seems to be demanding Sol take center stage - but I won’t argue against it.
It’s important to realize that the amount of money it took for Solana to reach $250 will be the same amount of money to bring it to $175, because of Solana being inflationary. Last time sol had this 18.5b marketcap the price was $60-65 roughly. Today it is $44. Solana will continue to be inflationary for the next 8 years I believe, so good to factor that in. In other words for Solana to reach its previous all time of $250 it will take 30% more capitol to bring it there then in 2021.
I’d like to sell half every time it doubles from $50 onwards.
buy solana weekly. sell around 0.1 eth. it literally is that easy
I’m not selling any until later 2025 unless it really runs before that. Will still hold a good amount over the long haul. My avg was 16 but slowly crept up into the 20’s.
Just ride the hype, 100-200 is realistic, 500 is ambitious, mass migration from eth users to sol is the dream.
DCA in up to $100. Start to DCA out at $200. Roughly 5% p/m. I reckon we head to 500-ish. I bought a load right at the top but have been DCA-ing through this period. Not sure of average now, maybe $30-40.
I use it, it’s fun. Get into the defi / gaming / betting side of it and have a blast. No need to sell.
